Build Your Own Machine Learning Model, Part 1 (English) – Anastasia Koulina & Michael Knopf from Altair
Whether you're a seasoned developer or have no desire to code, you'll have the opportunity to get familiar with ML by working through a real-life scenario that happened to me.
When my car broke down on the highway, I knew I had a problem. I needed to buy a new car, but I had no idea how to estimate a fair price for a used vehicle. How could I be sure I wasn’t getting ripped off? I’m no used car expert, but I am a data scientist, so I decided to use my skills and create a machine learning model to help me make the right decision.
In the workshop, I will take you through the same journey, from problem to solution, and you will build your own machine learning model to solve that problem. You will learn how to build a model in three different ways: using code, graphical methods, or automatic methods. In the main practical part, you will use a “no-code” approach, but there will also be the possibility for developers in the group to insert their own code if they want. The software and data will be shared.
